Hi everyone my name is Caitlin & this November, I’m challenging myself to 79 skips a day (or more!). I’m doing it to support heart health, and in honour of the 79 Australians whose lives are cut short by heart disease every day.
This foundation is close to my heart as when I was 12 years old I suffered a Cardiac Arrest while at school. Doctors decided my safest option was to have a Defibrillator implanted into my chest.
When I was in my early 20’s it was discovered that my Mitral Valve was leaking. I was lucky enough to have a repair done which hasn’t had to be touched since.
Every skip honours the people I love, and every dollar I raise is helping to support healthier hearts for every generation. Help me help others.
