Support my Skip for Heart challenge to help save Aussie hearts.
This November, I’m challenging myself to 79 skips a day (or more!). I’m doing it to support heart health, and in honour of the 79 Australians whose lives are cut short by heart disease every day.
This November the 13th will be my 2 year anniversary of life saving Open Heart Surgery after being diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease 3 months prior to my surgery. I was given 6 years to live with the right side of my enlarged heart already failing. I have titanium plates in my chest and a bovine patch after valve redirection and closing the almost 3cm hole in my heart.
My health has improved overall and my life expectancy has increased! I now have ‘Repaired Congenital Heart Disease’.
From the bottom of my heart 🫀🫶 I thank you for taking part and supporting Australian Hearts ♥️
