One heartbeat, one skip, one life saved.

Four months ago, I was on an operating table having heart bypass surgery. Today, I'm picking up a jump rope. Let me tell you why this matters so much to me.
On June 16th, 2025, my life changed forever. The surgery saved me, but the journey since then has been humbling—losing weight, rebuilding strength, and learning to trust my body again. Some days, just climbing a flight of stairs felt like a mountain.
But here's the thing about second chances: they make you want to fight harder, not just for yourself, but for others too.
That's why I've signed up for the Heart Foundation's challenge—to skip rope 80 times daily for the entire month of November. For someone who's still finding their way back to full strength, this isn't just exercise. It's a promise. A promise to myself that I'm getting stronger. A promise to my family that I'm not giving up. And a promise to raise $500 for heart research and support programs that help people just like me.
Every single dollar you donate goes toward:
Life-saving research into heart disease
Support programs for heart patients and their families
Education and prevention initiatives that could save someone you love
I know times are tough for everyone, but if you can spare even $5, $10, or $20—it would mean the world to me.
Not just for the cause, but because it tells me I'm not doing this alone. Watch this space—I'll be sharing my daily progress, the tough days, the small victories, and everything in between. Will you skip with me? Will you stand with me?

Let's make every skip count. Let's give hope a heartbeat. ❤️
Thank you for being part of my journey. Your support means more than words can express. 🙏

My dearest, When you went in for open-heart surgery in June, my heart was full of fear but you faced it with a calm courage I’ll never forget. Since then, your steady commitment to exercise and the thoughtful changes to your daily habits have inspired me every day. This experience has changed our lives, but it has also reminded me who you are: determined, patient, and full of heart in every way. I’m so proud of you not just for the big milestones, but for the quiet, daily choices you make to heal. Thank you for fighting for your health and for our future together. I love you more than ever.
