Wow 500 skips today!!

If you’d asked me at the beginning of this challenge if I could do 500skips in one go I would have said NO WAY! But that’s exactly what I did just now (ok so I did have a 30second breather after 250 skips before pushing out the next 250).

I am stoked!! My body is feeling the difference and I can even start to see the difference, I’d like to say I’m sad to see part of me disappearing….but heck no…goodbye belly flub!!!

Still going!

So it’s day 20 tomorrow and I’m proud to say I’m still skipping. My plan to do 10 extra skips each day is still in action and I pumped out 300skips this morning all in the one hit! Nice!! Still skipping twice a day some days, but not today.

Day 8 and going strong!

So it’s day 8 and I’ve just done my morning skips - 150. I set the goal to add 10extra skips to each round and so far I’ve managed it. I’ve also started skipping morning and night - so I need to do another 150 tonight however I won’t be home so will try and add into tomorrows skips. 

Have figured its best for my body to skip on a yoga mat on carpet - I can do this barefoot without having to have the extra padding of my sneakers. My feet are very grateful for the support! 

Day 5 - skipped morning and night!

Awesome- my goal is to skip at least 10
more skips per round. So I knocked out 120 this morning and then did that again just now (8pm)! Loving this!! Skip

100 skips today!

20 more than yesterday- recovery faster today too. I’m getting in the rhythm! 

Day one complete!

So seems I still can skip, but omg I am super unfit! 80 skips today in one go and my heart rate and breathing skyrocketed 😂 Took me 5 minutes to recover! Can only get better from here on in! I’m going to aim for 100 skips tomorrow and see how I move forward from there. 

Nearly Here!

1st November is nearly here! I've borrowed my skipping rope and checked I can still skip......a couple of throws of the skipping rope over my head, my legs made it over too.....so yep I guess I can still skip. 79 skips......cheer me on for day 1, I'm going to need it!
